Welcome to the Creature Creation Station Kids Design Challenge! Each month there will be a new challenge and we invite all the kids out there (with their parents help) to send us images of their own creatures inspired by the challenge. We will post those images and the child's first name, last initial, and age right here on the blog. Other kids can come look and be inspired by what they see. Let's support young artists together!
Each month one young artist will be randomly chosen to receive Brett's original Creature Creation Station drawing of that month's challenge!
How It Works: Check out this blog on the 1st of each month. A form like the one posted below will be filled out with all the attributes for that months challenge. Then invite your kids to draw a creature fitting all the criteria. Let their imaginations run wild! Encourage them to have fun and that the sky's the limit!
Where to Send: Please send scans or photos of the drawings to Julie at info@shopanddraw.com
What's Next: As drawings come in, we will post them to this blog here and send you an email when your child's drawing is live. If they want, they can then share the post with friends and family - all of whom are hopefully encouraging them to keep on drawing!
A Special Giveaway: At the end of the month, we will select one kid at random who entered to receive Brett's version of that months creature.
Why We Do It: Because kids are awesome! Art is awesome! And encouraging young artists to be inspired and creative is something we feel passionate about. Also, it's fun!
